The steel we use for Metal Fabrication for Scissor lift parts is Q345 (see below for material information) which is a Low alloy, high-strength structural steel; our production capability for Material thickness is up to 3.15in (using our Plasma Cutter). 

Besides our existing molded Metal Fabrication for Scissor Lift parts, MH Metal also can custom make Metal Fabrication parts as per the customer’s drawings and request. 

We control the product quality critically for every manufacturing step, from raw material to surface finish. And also, professional technical engineers from our sales support team (on behalf of our customers) will do the quality check once again from the beginning to finish to ensure the quality. 

Q345 Steel Overview

Q345 is low alloy steel (c<0.2%), formerly known as 16Mn. Q stands for yield, and the following 345 refers to the yield value of this material, 345mpa, which will decrease with the increase of material thickness. It is widely used in bridges, vehicles, ships, buildings, pressure vessels, etc.

Q345 Equivalent Materials

Q345 can also be replaced with equivalent materials, including A572 Grade 50 USA ASTM, Q355 China GB/T, and SPFC 590 Vietnam/Japanese JIS.

Introduction to Q345 steel properties

1. Q345 steel has excellent mechanical properties and physical properties. Its steel has good toughness, compressive capacity, and tensile strength, so its products can be used in many fields.

2. Q345 steel has good low-temperature performance.

3. Q345 steel has good plasticity and weldability. If the plasticity is good, it can be processed into many shapes. Good welding performance also makes its processing more convenient, thus saving the processing cost.

4. Q345 steel has a powerful ability to adapt to the environment. It can be used even at a low temperature of minus 40 ℃, which will not significantly impact its performance.
